Hi, I’m Chef Sasha, I was born and raised in Bronx, New York with a nationality of the Caribbean Island of Jamaica. With degrees in culinary arts and hospitality management, I have a passion for flavors, food, and teaching others. Although the culinary industry is wide spread of cuisines and cultures, one of my favorites is Italian cuisine. Being granted the opportunity to study abroad in Italy was one of the best times of my life. I’ve learned so much with the importance and flavors of fresh ingredients. The name Model Chef Gourmet comes from me wanting to be a plus size model and wanting to be a food stylist. They always say, “People eat with their eyes first” and if it doesn’t look good, then I don’t want it. I started my own catering company, where we specialize in private dining, and private catering for large and small events, so people can have the chance to indulged in a catering experience like no other. I have created a blend of gourmet seasonings to enhance each dish with a taste of love and beauty through food at home.
